Why should I choose Safe At Home over boarding with my local kennel?

It’s a safe, convenient and affordable option when you can’t be there to care for your pets. Your pet is able to stay in the comforts of their own home and have their routine minimally disrupted. You will not need to have your pet vaccinated for Bortella (kennel cough) and no need to wait in lines for check in and check out at the kennel, we come straight to you. In addition, most boarding facilities will accept dogs and cats. When you choose Safe At Home all pets that live in your home are cared for at one flat affordable rate

What is included in Pet Sitting or Livestock Care Visit?

Each time Safe At Home comes to your home to care for your pet and property we will follow the instructions you’ve outline for us. A typical visit will include, feeding, water change and social time as well as basic home care. The time we spend in your home will depend on the instructions we have from you. Following our visit, will send you an update and leave a daily progress report.

What if my pet has special needs?

Safe At Home provides a free in-home consultation. During this time we will get to know you and your pet and in turn you and your pet will get to know us. We will discuss any health or dietary concerns as well as behavioral issues that your pet may have. We are not veterinarians or animal psychologists; however, we are passionate animal care givers. Therefore, if there is a specific routine that your pet needs, we will follow your routine to keep them safe and healthy in your absence.

What if my pet is ill or injured while I’m gone?

Safe At Home will immediately contact you or the emergency contact listed on your contract. The instructions that you’ve outlined for us will be followed and we will stay in close communication with you throughout the process.

What is included in Basic Home Care?

Basic Home Care is included when we care for your pet. It can vary depending on the needs of the homeowner, however, it typically includes the following: bringing in the mail/packages/trash cans, removing solicitation flyers from entry way, turning on/off lights, opening and closing window blinds/shutters, watering plants, light pool care (emptying skimmer buckets, sweep, etc.), checking doors/windows, and clearing messes made by pet.

What is Basic Home Care +?

Basic Home Care+ is a service for those who don’t have pets but need someone to look after their property in their absence. The services can vary depending on the needs of the homeowner however; the services typically include the following: All services in Basic Home Care, running water through sinks, turning on/off heating or cooling, scheduling maintenance, sweeping entry way, and provide updates to the homeowner.

Our service area includes, Queen Creek, Gilbert, San Tan Valley, Chandler and Mesa.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, Safe At Home is a licensed business in Queen Creek, Arizona. We are insured through AAA Insurance Company.

What forms of payment do you take?

Safe At Home takes multiple forms of payment: We accept cash, check, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.

Do you offer special discounts?

Yes, Safe At Home offers many different opportunities to save on cash but not on the quality of care. Please see a listing of our current programs under our Rates/Services page.
